BASE
INSTRUCTION

Elite-level coaching for those serious about doing this right.

The Location

The Perrine Bridge,
Twin Falls, ID

The Perrine is the premier location to learn BASE jumping — 486 feet above the Snake River, with a generous landing area and as much forgiveness as this sport will ever offer you. That said, BASE jumping is dangerous. It can cause serious injury or death, and it demands to be treated that way every single time.

The course is built around you. We move at your pace. The goal is to make sure you actually know what you're doing — not just check boxes. Come prepared: complete at least 10 pack jobs before your course date and we'll get a lot more jumps in together.

Prerequisites: 200 skydives, or extensive paraglider experience. It's also highly recommended you complete at least 10 pack jobs before your course date — the more comfortable you are with the gear going in, the more jumps we'll get done together.

Course Structure

4/5 Days. Your Pace.

1
Day One
Gear & Ground
BASE-specific equipment, proper setup and checks, and the foundations of safe jumping.
2
Day Two
Assessment & Exit
Object and weather assessment, exit strategies, malfunctions and procedures, and staying mentally sharp under pressure.
3
Day Three
Canopy & Control
Canopy flight patterns, sinking, gliding, accuracy, landings, and deployment methods — PCA, static line, handheld, stowed.
4
Day Four
Advanced Training
We expand on the basics and start moving you toward your specific goals — aerials, unpacked jumps, other objects, and beyond.
5
Day Five
Weather Day
BASE jumping is at the mercy of conditions. A built-in weather day means we're never rushing because the forecast didn't cooperate — we use it if we need it.

What You'll Learn

No Shortcuts.
No Gaps.

Students progress at their own rate with one clear objective: to move forward in this sport in a way that's safe, skilled, and smart.

  • BASE-specific gear knowledge — proper setup, checks, and use
  • Packing techniques and efficiency
  • Object assessment and site evaluation
  • Weather assessment and go/no-go decision-making
  • Knowing when to stand down — and mental state during jumps
  • How to stay calm in intense, high-consequence situations
  • Malfunctions, emergency procedures, and object avoidance
  • PCA, static line, handheld, stowed — progression and methods
  • Pilot chute selection; slider up vs. slider down setup and use
  • Exit strategies and obstruction awareness
  • Manually pulling pins
  • Canopy flight: patterns, sinking, gliding, accuracy, and landing
  • Ethics, respect for other jumpers, property, and object preservation
  • Jumping other objects safely
  • Bust factors — how to identify and avoid trouble
  • Choosing the right people to jump with and learn from
  • Is your path constructive or destructive? We'll talk about it.

Every Course Includes

Built In.

Jump Video
Video of every jump, including in-freefall footage — yours to keep and review.
Jump Debriefs
Thorough breakdowns after each jump so you understand exactly what happened and why.
Guided Progression
Supervision throughout, paced to you — not to a schedule.
Post-Course Access
After the course wraps, you can still reach out with questions. That relationship doesn't end on day four.
Mental Sharpness Focus
This sport is as much a mind game as a physical one. We train both.
The Best Time of Your Life
Not something we can put in the fine print, but it's pretty much inevitable.

Advanced & Private Training

Going Further

Advanced training is available by the day — for students who want to keep pushing toward aerials, unpacked jumps, running exits, object avoidance, or canopy skill refinement.

Or maybe you just want to get more comfortable, sharpen your packing, and have experienced eyes on your progression. That's what advanced training is for too.

"Is your path constructive or destructive?"

That's a question Sean asks every student. BASE jumping at a high level isn't just about skill — it's about how you think, how you choose your jumps, who you choose to jump with, and whether you're building toward something or burning it down.
